Veronica "Ronni" Paine
MT-BC
Board-Certified Music Therapist
Ronni graduated cum laude with her Bachelor's of Music in Music Therapy from Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa. She moved to California to complete her internship at Sonoma Developmental Center working with adults with a wide array of intellectual and developmental differences. Once her internship was completed she became a board certified music therapist in April 2016. Ronni looks forward to continuing her education and plans on pursuing additional training and certifications in the near future.
Ronni has experience with all ages in a variety of settings. With PRC she works in a pediatric hospital for children with burns, orthopedic conditions, and other complex surgical needs. She also works with a wide variety of adults including those with developmental, intellectual, and physical disabilities, and those with mental and behavioral disorders. As a supervisor she has worked with fieldwork students from University of the Pacific, and leads PRC's university affiliated internship program. Outside of work she serves as a regional representative for the California Association for Music Therapy and as the government relations representative for the Western Region of the American Music Therapy Association.
Ronni loves being with her four energetic nephews, spending time playing sports, hiking, reading, and creating. When not with family, Ronni enjoys exploring and relaxing with her boyfriend, writing, and biking.
